maqueta_3AGUALAB is a mobile laboratory where children experience, play and learn the origin and destination of water, and start taking a responsible approach to its use. Using a methodology developed by a multidisciplinary group of French and American scientists, adapted by education experts in Mexico, EDUTECH promotes a new water culture in our country.

AGUALAB provides students of elementary levels a series of activities within the fascinating world of experimentation with water resources. Throughout the experiments the student becomes aware of water management in our country, as well as stimulating his powers of observation.

Agualab contains appropriate material to develop 20 practical activities organized in 7 thematic axes .

The first main theme is water pollution, sensitize students about the causes and consequences of water pollution .

The following 5 correspond to previously developed plans and syllabi for Natural Sciences grades 1 through 6.

Water Purification Methods is added as a supplement to the student to understand some common methods used in water purification .

All activities are designed with high quality materials and easy to handle equipment limiting the risk factor to a minimum. Students will learn and experience aspects of the water cycle and its nature, taste, status changes, aspects of their purification, disease as a result of bad water quality, and more.

OIt is important to note that this product is designed with children between 6 and 11 years of age as its target, where students undergo a period of cognitive and educational development necessary to handle the concepts and practical activities according to their individual characteristics.

For optimal operation of the equipment, it is suggested to work in groups of 5 students, promoting cooperation among students, and facilitating the teacher’s control during practical activities.
