Systems

A system, regardless of complexity level, is an arrangement of
interdependent elements and processes that interact with each other as a whole to
perform a task or to produce an entity, function, or property.

Technicians using the systems thinking approach to troubleshooting
are capable of seeing a system output as the goal. They use their understanding
of the inputs, processes, and feedback mechanisms of a system to analyze and solve
system discrepancies. Systems thinking allows technicians to logically troubleshoot
any system.
